A manuscript a brilliant poet friend sent me.

Burgess' language is fascinating.
Alexie's optimism is infectious.
Glück is Glück.
Forché's seriousness matches her style perfectly.
WS Merwin is powerfully depressing.
Strand's Elegy for my Father is incredible.
McGrath's flippant nature is fun.
Oh dear sweet Jesus, this manuscript is genius! Breathtaking!
