Inflatables

Last night our 30ft Margarita glass exploded when we turned the fan to three. So we used the rest of the plastic to make two snakes/abstract shapes that writhe on the ground. We took 'em down to the playground in Friendship Square and inflated them to the cheers of little ones. They had so much fun. It was definately healing after the last few weeks of la bufera infernal.

Things are getting green in Moscow again. I love the smells of spring.

A little nervous for my reading.

Good luck at your reading! I enjoyed the Merwin poems you posted below. The two photos were also interesting.

Good luck at your reading.
You'll always be nervous before, and it always goes away once you start.

Don't forget to breathe.

And drink heavily.

A couple drinks before, get schwilly after.

It's just been so long since I've read in a public space. Almost 8 months.

Yep, I had gone a year without reading until a couple weeks ago. It's like riding a bicycle. Somtimes you fall off and scrape your knees on gravel, sometimes you don't.

I'll wear a helmet then, and hope for the best.
