The Jewish Museum Berlin: Daniel Liebeskind

I hope that this continuing series of diagrams and texts will help understand this building. First, the obligatory money shot:

This connotation is pretty apparent and so I start with it. The exterior form of the building can be seen as a destructed Star of David.

What an interesting blog, introduced by a thought-provoking photo. The unusual wall painting of the dwellings is also a strangely modern interpretation. Something like this hieroglyphic view of a park by Swiss painter Paul Klee,
